Eric Cappiello was born in Redbank, NJ. He remained in New Jersey for the earlier part of his education attending Caldwell College as a Fine Arts major. Following college graduation, and an exciting career in the art world, his education shifted to premedical sciences, which he studied at Rutgers University. He obtained his Medical Degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1999. Following graduation, he pursued his Anesthesiology residency training at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and remained there for a fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesiology and Regional Anesthesiology. He has continued at Brigham and Women’s hospital for the past decade, and has been involved in many hospital initiatives for improved patient care, including crisis management protocols on the Labor and Delivery unit.
Eric is thrilled to be able to combine his medical knowledge with his artistic talent and elevate his patients’ health, beauty, and vitality. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his two young sons, snowboarding, traveling, and competing in triathlons.
Mariam Cappiello grew up in sunny California and moved to the East Coast at age 12, where she attended high school in New Canaan, Connecticut. After graduating from Tufts University with a Bachelor’s in Biology college, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Physiology at the New York Medical College Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences, while working as a research assistant in the Orthopedics Department at Columbia University Hospital. Upon completion of her Master’s Degree, she enrolled in medical school at New York Medical College. Due to her great interest in physiology and pharmacology, she decided upon a career in anesthesiology. She did her residency training at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston, and her pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston. She currently works as a pediatric anesthesiologist at Tufts University, and participates in medical outreach programs in Vietnam, Honduras, and India.
Her great interest in fitness, nutrition, and preventive medicine led her to enroll at the Friedman School of Nutrition, where she is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Communication and Behavioral Interventions. Her dream is to combine her fitness and nutrition passions with her love of anti-aging medicine and provide total body wellness to her clients. In her free time, she keeps active with her two young sons, and enjoys running, skiing, and traveling.
"Dr. Nguyen was phenomenal. He has an excellent bedside manner, great hands and he explains everything to me in regular language. I also like the fact that he's Harvard trained so I know that he is an expert."
